BASEBALL: Northeastern captures victory over Susquehannock

Northeastern’s Joseph Beckhardt went 2-for-4, including two runs scored and three stolen bases, to lead the Bobcats to a 7-5 baseball victory over Susquehannock on Monday in Glen Rock.

Nick Sprenkle went 2-for-3 for the Bobcats.

For the Warriors, Sam Miller hit a double.

OTHER BASEBALL

WILSON 11, CENTRAL 5: At Central, Wilson combined 12 hits with seven errors by the Panthers to win the non-league game. Travis Shaffer cracked a two-run homer and a single for the Panthers, and Jordan Chicannias and Roy Walker supplied two hits each.

EASTERN 7, GETTYSBURG 5: At Wrightsville, Thomas Taylor led the Golden Knights, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

KENNARD-DALE 9, LITTLESTOWN 2: At Fawn Grove, Matt Vincent led the Rams with three RBIs, while Lake Miller had two RBIs and Dakota Baer picked up the complete-game victory, striking out four and walking two.
