The District 3 boys’ volleyball pairings were released on Sunday and four York-Adams League teams qualified between the two classes.

Starting in Class AA, Northeastern and York Suburban enter as the top overall seeds and earned first-round byes into next Monday’s quarterfinal round. The Bobcats will face the winner of Thursday night’s opening-round match between Garden Spot and Cocalico, both teams from the Lancaster-Lebanon League. Northeastern is ranked No. 1 in the state in AA and is looking to secure its fourth straight state volleyball crown. The Bobcats recently finished an unbeaten run through the York-Adams League regular season.

The Bobcats only dropped one game all year, losing to AAA top-ranked Parkland in the championship match of the Kohler Classic. Northeastern responded to that defeat by then knocking off Parkland in straight sets on the road just a few days later.
