GOLF: Dover takes another York-Adams Division II win

Dover won its second straight York-Adams Division II golf tournament on Tuesday at Mountainview Golf Course near Fairfield.

The Eagles finished with a 329 total, which was 19 shots clear of second-place Susquehannock. Host Gettysburg was third at 357.

Dover’s Logan Snyder was the individual medalist at 74, followed by Eastern York’s Zach Dixon at 75 and Gettysburg’s Jacob Withers at 78. They were the only golfers to break 80 on the day.

Irish take Division III win: On Monday, York Catholic won its second straight Division III victory at Country Club of York.

The Fighting Irish finished at 324, followed by York Tech at 337 and Bermudian Springs at 398.

Andrew Forjan shot 73 to lead York Catholic. He was the only golfer to break 80.
