District 3 wrestling event moving to Giant Center

The 2017 District 3 Individual Wrestling Championships will be held at the Giant Center in Hershey.

PIAA District 3 wrestling chairman Randy Umberger confirmed the move on Tuesday on the District 3 website.

According to an announcement on the website: “The move will give District 3 some distinct advantages in the operation of the wrestling championships and provide greater comfort for fans attending the event, which has been held at neighboring Hersheypark Arena since 2003.”
