PREP: Traditional Division I softball powers fall

It was a very unusual Monday in York-Adams softball.

The two teams who have dominated the league in recent years — Central York and Dallastown — both fell on the same day.

Red Lion stunned previously unbeaten Central York, earning a 5-4 road win over the two-time defending York-Adams League champion. Spring Grove, meanwhile, won at Dallastown, 9-6. Central and Dallastown have combined to win the last five York-Adams League titles.
