Defending champs look strong, but could face challenges in York-Adams girls’ basketball

The girls’ basketball divisional races in the York-Adams League were exciting last year.

There’s a good chance, however, that the upcoming season may top that.

Many of the same teams that battled down to the wire for divisional supremacy a season ago figure to be among the contenders again this season.

That fact presents a really big question: Will history repeat itself with Central York (Division I), Susquehannock (D-II) and York Catholic (D-III) prevailing again, or will the deck get reshuffled, with contenders such as Dallastown (D-I), Dover, West York, Eastern York (D-II) or Delone Catholic (D-III) earning titles?
