Eleven York-Adams girls’ volleyball players earn all-state recognition from coaches group

York Catholic vs. Trinity

The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) recently released its list of 2017 all-state performers.

It should come as no surprise that West York and Delone Catholic are well represented. Both teams made state playoff runs, with the Squirettes advancing all the way to the PIAA Class 2-A title match.

While the Squirettes (four) and the Bulldogs (two) had their fair share of honorees, so too did York Catholic and York Suburban, two teams which failed to make the state playoffs. Both of those schools also had two all-state selections each.
